"Planned c-section"

I had a wonderful experience at the Borders General for a planned section. The staff are caring and understanding, my midwife (Abbie) was absolutely fantastic and everything went well. This is the second time I have had a section here and my experience both times has been absolutely brilliant. I had help with breastfeeding, advice on after care for my wound, physio input for pelvic floor, everything. I wanted to stay an extra night this time because of cluster feeding/previous issues and I was supported with this too. So often we only hear of things going wrong and I just wanted to report on an excellent experience with the most caring hospital staff I’ve ever come across. Thank you so much to all of you for everything you did for us and our beautiful family, we have two gorgeous boys and it wouldn’t be possible without you.
