"Eden ward PD Service ."

About: Rampton Hospital / Personality Disorder Pathway

(as the patient),

On our ward we lose all our staff that’s therapeutic with us. You get up in a morning and you don’t know who is on duty. Most days our staff get moved then we get staff from other wards that doesn’t want to do anything with us.

We ask why, they answer that management do what they want. We don’t get a reason. Staff say because they can. Unable at times to see our named nurse or our team. We are supposed to be a moving on ward so you shouldn’t need much staff input.

Hi Thank you for taking your time to feedback.

It is not always easy to speak up so well done for bringing this to our attention.

I will look out for other people to respond to your concerns but I will make sure you get a copy.

Thanks Again

Hi

Thank you for providing your feedback.

Staffing is an issue that is on the Personality Disorder Care Stream Action log which is discussed & reviewed in our PIER meetings. If you don't already, are you able to attend to discuss this in more depth?

I have also asked that Deputy Matron Amanda Cartwright attends the wards next Community Meeting so that this can be openly discussed with the ward and actions agreed and taken forward.

Kind regards

Kerry Burton

Modern Matron
