"My story is about my key worker"

About: Change Grow Live Cambridgeshire / Wisbech

(as a service user),

I joined CGL when I was going through a really hard time in my life and I wanted to better myself and change, since I have been with cgl I have been offered many services by pretty much everybody who works there so many people have pulled together to aid me in my recovery. I am especially grateful to my key worker Francis she has helped me turn my whole life around, its been a rocky road I have to admit and there has been times where she has had to give me a harsh reality check and tell me some truths but without it I wouldnt of got to where I have now, she has been truly fantastic she says things just as they are and that's just what you need to hear sometimes no beating around the bush and every promise has always been met and she has picked me up when I have been down on many occasions in a professional way.

I am very grateful for the help and support I have received throughout the years of my recovery.

I am now a strong and happy independent individual and that is all thanks to my key worker Francis and CGL'S support.

Thankyou x

Hi AWRecovery

That's such a nice thing to say so thank you very much. Frances is great, I agree. I like the way you describe the approach she has taken with you. That maybe right for some and not others which is why our staff like Frances are so skilled. They really get to know the service user and understand what they need. everyone is different. Happy and independent... that's sounds great and keep going and there is no doubt this will continue.

Thanks

Paul
