Anything else?
Waiting room was disgustingly unclean and extremely cold which made my son feel 10 times worse than the pain that he was already in. Also when we were told we could go home, I asked one of the staff who I believe was a senior nurse for a wheelchair as my son is disabled and the distance to the car was extremely far. Her reply was that "if he cannot walk he cannot go home". I found this extremely oblivious and unhelpful, in the end we luckily found one outside the ward (Jack's Place). On the bright side, there were a few friendly doctors who we encountered prior to the surgery. This is not the first time I have witnessed bad care at Northwick Park as my other son a couple of years ago had complications with appendicitis.
