"Hospital appointments"

About: Belfast City Hospital / Outpatients Services Royal Victoria Hospital / Ear, Nose & Throat

(as a service user),

I've had 2 experiences within 2 days of the Belfast trust.

First my son had a day procedure at Belfast City hospital yesterday and today I had an appointment at ENT at the Royal Victoria hospital.

Both experiences were very positive. Lovely staff. Great communication. Good service.

Car parking was my only issue.. The cost of parking at the city and the queue I suffered at the Royal.

Otherwise the staff including the receptionists, nurses, doctors were so friendly and informative.

This meant so much to both of us. My son is only a teenager.

Firstly I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback and for your very kind words about your positive experiences. I will pass this on to the departments you mentioned, and I know that the staff will be heartened to hear that both you and your son were appreciative of the care you recieved.

I also hear your frustration with the parking at both the City and Royal sites. I will feed this back to the team who oversees this. We are aware of the challenges that parking can represent, and we do want to work to improve this.
