"Don't bother calling ward for update, ringer…"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

If you try calling C8 via the switchboard or on the direct ward line chances are that your call will never be answered. C8 like many of the other wards switch the phone ringer off. Totally disgusting specially since we cannot visit our relatives during COVID restrictions. Some patients are not able to communicate with relatives via mobile phone. Imagine if we ignored the hospital calling to arrange discharge for patients back home. We gave up after three day's and dozens of calls.
