About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Day Care Unit (Ward 1c)

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter has been attending ward 1c for over 3years for her 6 weekly infusion the staff nurses, nursing assistants, students, Jackie the play assistant and orderly are absolutely amazing and always make her and I feel completely at ease and nothing is ever too much trouble from getting treatment running to providing fruit or a snack, her dad had to bring her for the first time on her last visit and he also couldn’t believe how attentive the staff are and how smooth the process of her treatment works. The team are brilliant, thank you x

What a lovely post to read, thank you so much for taking the time to feedback to us.

It sounds as though your daughter has had a really challenging time over the past 3 years - that's a huge number of visits for her - and of course for you and her Dad (especially with 3 other children!) this makes it even more special that you've taken the time to contact us.

Our entire nursing team including our students, as well as Jacqui are an absolute credit to the RHC family and we are so proud of them all. We have shared your post alongside our Senior Management Teams thanks to them all. It makes me smile to read how they go out of their way to support you all whether it's a wee snack or an activity. we whole heartedly agree with you, they are brilliant!

It's always our absolute pleasure to care for all our children and young people and we thank you so much for caring in partnership with us.
