About: Borders General Hospital / Maternity care

(as a service user),

I would like to thank everyone at the Borders General hospital maternity unit for the most amazing care throughout my birth/postnatal care. I would like to specifically mention midwife Libby and student midwife Pamela who looked after us throughout my labour. My husband and Mum were my birthing partners and were absolutely amazing but I couldn't have done it without the support and guidance of those staff members. They were honestly the best!!! I absolutely owe my positive birth experience to you guys. Thank you so so much. Also the girls in ward 16 who looked after me on my first night in with my daughter they were so supportive and helped me adjust to mum life.

I am delighted to hear you had such a positive experience within the unit and you felt well supported throughout your labour and postnatal period - this is very important to us.

We aim to provide person centered care and I'm so glad we have achieved this with your experience.
