"Recent hospital admission"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Gastroenterology (Stomach and Gut)

(as a service user),

I would like to thank the staff in ward 101 and ward 105 for the care that I received during my admission last week. I was admitted for 4 days to treat dehydration due to a bug and not tolerating my tube feeding. I have previously had admissions to both these wards before due to ongoing gastric issues. The staff on both wards were fantastic. I felt well cared for by the doctors and nurses. I had a faint while on the ward and would like to thank the nurse (Claire Ward 104) for being very kind and reassuring when I wasn’t feeling well after fainting. I am thankfully now recovering at home.

Dear SH1987,

Thank you for taking the time to share your compliment with us, for your recent admission to ARI. It sounds like you were quite unwell when you was in and I'm glad to hear that you are now home and feeling better.

I have shared your message and thanks with the W104 manager, Aileen Hay and the consultants. I have asked Aileen to share your personal thanks with SN Claire who you remember for being kind and reassuring when you was unwell. I know Claire will be thankful for your kind words and will also wish you well in your recovery.

Thank you again and I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Lesley.
