(as a service user),

i started off with my mates on the weekends having fun drinking, then it lead to a few grams on a friday night and after five years progressed into 3/4 grams everyday. now i need help and cgl have helped me as i havnt felt comfortable asking people who are personal to me but at cgl i am surrounded with people who are like me and really struggling to get a grip, then people who are on the journey of recovery and above that people who have changed their life around and their mindset.  This is whats helping me most as i hadnt seen that as a possible scenario for me.

Hi Jamie97

Well done for reaching out. You have to do something otherwise nothing will change. So you have started the recovery journey and I'm sure you will reach where you want to wit that attitude. Being around people who really know what you are going through is so important. We deliver lots of groups but there is also NA which is the support network out in the community. we also have our own Cambridgeshire Recovery Service. Speak to your worker about these or use the trusted Google!
