"My dad"

My dad has been a patient of Lyndsey Hegarty and her team for over two years. At 96 and a half we are blessed that he remains at home and is content and comfortable. 

We have no doubt that being able to remain at home with mum is due to the wonderful care he has received from Lyndsey and the District nursing team who always go above and beyond to make him as comfortable as possible and attend with compassion to his nursing needs. 

The team have also been caring and attentive to mum, giving her reassurance and support as she navigates the changing challenges of dad’s condition whilst dealing with her own health issues. 

We know that the team are only a phone call away if we need them. Recently we had to make such a phone call as dad’s health deteriorated rapidly. Vicki attended him and could not have done more. Dad received prompt attention in Craigavon Hospital and was fit to return home two days later. 

We would like to thank the team for being everything a true “carer” should be.
