"Professional care at its best"

I have been attending Lincoln County Hospital over the past year. Initially, my care commenced by having to attend A & E. As my condition developed to require long-term management and investigation, I had to attend the X-ray department, medical physics as well as the Urological Investigation Team.

I had two MRI scans and the technicians were excellent and supported both times. A very professional team.

Most of my care has been within the UI team. From the initial and subsequent visits, I felt that I really mattered as I was treated as an individual by all the team.

My only concern is the telephone consultations, as I find they lack spontaneity and personal touch on sensitive issues. I also experienced 3 consultations with 3 different consultants, so some continuity was lost. I fully understand the need for this due to Covid 19 protocols, so I hope they revert to face to face soon!

A very special thank you to Amanda, as she is always extremely professional, and this, coupled with treating everyone as an individual resulting in personalised care, makes the experience feel positive and confident. You are getting the best care possible. I would say the whole team have this attitude and are a credit to your hospital and you should be very proud of them.
