"Test reschedule"

My father was scheduled for a lymph node biopsy this week. He has already been waiting 2 weeks for this test with all the stress and mental anguish that involves. He was told that his test will now be postponed for a week as he needs a Covid test.

Can you imagine the effect of this on his mental health and that of his close family who are desperately awaiting a clear diagnosis. I feel it’s appalling that this should happen and in my opinion is entirely due to inefficiency of hospital staff. We as a family are totally disgusted by this.
