I had to be transferred, as a coronary patient, from Forth Valley Royal Hospital to Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. In the ambulance were David (driver) and I think Jackie (paramedic). They came from the Falkirk unit. Both were highly attentive and personable. Jackie was brilliant when we were in the ambulance, at making sure I was comfortable, not in pain, and generally in monitoring me. She was also willing to chat. In these circumstances, I value someone who will engage in conversation. At the outset, both were very reassuring and I knew I would be in safe hands. I would appreciate it, if my gratitude could be passed on to them.
