"Feel very cross about lack of access to doctors appointments"

Why is it that whenever I call the surgery I can't get an appointment to even speak to a doctor?

Three days now I have called, either to be left waiting for so long I had to hang up or be told I can't get an appointment and should call back the next day. Surely with all these telephone appointments it should be easier to speak to a doctor, not harder.

As well as the concern with my health I am left feeling that the Surgery don't really care about taking to me. Only fulfilling some arbitrary target. I can't even talk to the doctor the next day! How hard would that be to make an appointment for the next day?

I am left feeling very disappointed in the system. It feels like the stress of trying to buy concert tickets or an xbox! I have to dedicate my days to calling and waiting in a massive queue. I won't even mention the mess of a website or appalling e-consult which always ends up with me having to call the surgery.

All in all, I am left feeling very cross about my experience and utterly powerless to change what is obviously a bad system for the patients.
