"Great Experience in ED"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency North Devon District Hospital / Blood Tests (Phlebotomy) North Devon District Hospital / Radiology (X-ray)

(as the patient),

I attended ED at 2am and was treated with kindness and care. Although there were delays with updates about what was happening, this was minor and still things were progressed as swiftly as they could.

Just a couple of things, twice during my stay I was offered a blanket, but these never were delivered. Although I could have asked.

I had lots of updates towards the end of my stay and I left knowing exactly what I needed to do and what would happen next.

I was grateful to the efficiency of phlebotomy who turned around my bloods as swiftly as possible. Also thanks to the Radiographer who performed my chest X-ray.

Thanks as well to the nurses and doctors responsible for my care.

Thank you very much for taking the time to give us such lovely feedback. I will ensure that this is relayed to the staff.

I would like to apologise that although we offered you a blanket, you did not receive one. I would also like to apologise for any delay in communication.

I hope you have made a full recovery.
