"The arrival of our daughter"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care)

(as the patient),

I had a planned c section due to having a placenta previa in February 2021. I was first to be seen the day. The surgical team (wish I could remember their names! ) & Dr Crichton were all amazing. I felt safe and well looked after in their hands. They were all so lovely to myself and my partner and couldn’t have taken better care of us. Everything went fantastically well with the safe arrival of our daughter - we decided to give her middle name after Dr Crichton - she was our consultant throughout and we couldn’t have asked for better care.

Hi weehoosie

Firstly, congratulations on the birth of your baby daughter in February 2021. How lovely to give her a middle name after the consultant who provided your care.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this positive feedback. I will ensure the staff involved with your care are informed of your positive birth experience

Wishing you and your family good times with your daughter

Best Wishes

Fiona
