"District nursing northern trust"

About: District Nursing / District Nursing - Larne

(as a carer),

Following my husbands brain injury 7 years ago we have been reliant on the district nursing team visiting 3 times a week.   They have been a real support and are always lovely to talk to and ask advice from.   Even when GPs visits stopped during the pandemic the district nursing team continued to arrive 3 times a week.

Dear KCJNL5

My name is Glynis Whittle, I am the Community Area Manager in Newtownabbey and Lead Nurse for the East Antrim Locality. Within my role I have responsibility for District Nursing and we are continually working on how to improve the quality of care and experience for clients and their families.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such lovely feedback, I am delighted that the District Nursing sister and her team have been a great support to you on a weekly basis over the past 7 years. I would also like to thank you for acknowledging the fact that the district nursing team have continued to provide the same level of care during the pandemic.

I will share your comments with the team and I have no doubt they will appreciate your recognition.

Thank you so much,

Glynis
