"The worst practice in Plymouth. "

About: Pathfields Medical Group

This is a company and the worst of them. They generally don’t care about what you say on their forms and also “ghost” you and say they’ve tried to call you. I recently had a telephone appointment not come through and I got a text telling me they “tried to call me” even though my phone was set to allow all calls through. I then called the GP to make sure they had my number correct, which they did, and they had the audacity to say “oh he’s out here he’s tried to call” in a mean tone. If your phone system is faulty, fix it. Don’t blame a bad system knowing it’s not working and then do nothing about it.

I also got a referred through to a service no longer being offered in my area for insomnia after being fobbed off for that too. A lot of my friends grew up in plympton and we all agree that this GP has dramatically gone down hill in the last 10 years. Some of these issues could land you in A&E like I did.

Honestly try a different GP.

Dear Patient,

Thank you for proving feedback. I am really sorry to hear that you have experienced some issues with a GP contacting you, we do acknowledge that this must be frustrating for you. I am not aware of an issues with our phone system relating to this specifically but this is something we can look into further if you were able to provide us with specific details.

If you would like to email our dedicated feedback mailbox, one of the team will be in touch.
