In my fifties, waiting for a date for my second vaccine dose, here in Edinburgh. Phoned the vaccine helpline for NHS Scotland to check when the date would be and found I was number 464 in the queue to! Held on and when I got through was told I hadn't been scheduled for a second dose. According to NHS Scotland I hadn't had my first jab because the appointment had been cancelled, so there couldn't be a second appointment yet. In fact I did have my first vaccine shot back in April, on the correct day at the EICC, but now there's no record of it and therefore no record of which vaccine I had. Fortunately I know, because they told me on the day and gave me the card stating it. I'm now in limbo, waiting for Lothian health board to correct my medical records so the vaccine booking system can generate an appointment for me. The helpline person told me the health board is inundated with requests, so it could take weeks to fix.
