"Very grateful"

About: Falkirk Community Hospital / Opthalmology

(as a service user),

My Nan had an appointment for routine treatment however was noted to be wheezy. A support nurse was very discreet allowing me to speak to staff outwith earshot if my Nan. A staff nurse was also very good doing a “check” on my Nan and encouraging her to seek medical help, which my Nan had not accepted when I suggested it.

This has since led to a hospital admission for treatment.

Very grateful to staff on shift for being both discreet, helpful and professional.

Dear Cetusmb79,

Thank you very much for giving feedback on our service. Taking the time to be so positive when your family are going through a difficult time, is very much appreciated.

I spoke with you on the phone at the time and was able to pass on your kind words to all the staff involved in your Nans care.

The team send their well wishes and we hope to see you both back soon.

Best wishes

Julie Catlin
