"The most wonderful team"

Midway through the year 2020, I attended the North Devon Hospital, Barnstable where I started to have tests for Prostate Cancer, initially it was quite daunting and scary. Within minutes of talking with the most wonderful team that I was about to see I never had another worry. They were so reassuring, friendly I felt so at ease, the rest of the period set aside for me just went by so quickly. Within a few weeks I had all the tests required to show I had cancer and also to say it had not travelled to any other part of my body. The whole experience seemed to be over so quickly, without any panic or worries, I was always being reassured by such wonderful staff. 

My Radiation treatment at the Royal Devon and Exeter was no different, my first visit for the treatment was met by such lovely people, nothing was to much trouble. I was constantly treated with such friendliness, a caring and reassuring team of Radiologists and receptionists. All of whom were free to make the visit and treatment as easy and worry free for the duration of each session. They were constantly reassuring and educational at all times. The whole treatment from the early tests to the final conclusion was done in such a professional friendly manner it is so easy for me to heap all the praise to all the doctors, nurses, radiologists and all the receptionists who also contributed to the most perfect treatment that could possibly be given. Well done to all and many many thank yous.
