"Covid 19 testing cell at North Devon DH"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Covid swabbing unit

(as a service user),

Attending for the test was fine.  It is slightly annoying that the hospital wouldn't accept a PCR test done more local to where I live or by post, which would have saved me an hour drive each way just to have the swab taken.

All the staff were charming and efficient.

The result arrived promptly later in the day.  I needed the test prior to an operation planned for Saturday.

Dear Morwenna,

My name is Lisa Moore and I am the COVID-19 Clinical Lead at the Testing Cell. Thank you for your feedback.

We have set up a self swabbing postal service based upon a previous patients feedback so your feedback is well received by our team, valued and proves the need for change.

I am so pleased to hear that you found the service to your satisfaction and I will let my team know your thoughts.

With very best wishes,

Lisa Moore.
