"Holistic help from Dr Burns"

I have been a patient at the chest clinic for quite a few years now under the care of Dr Burns during outpatient visits or inpatient stay.

I am so grateful to him for getting me where I am today. Not only to focus on respiratory issues but the wider multidisciplinary team he involved in my care in investigating and finding other issues contributing to my symptoms. Therefore, referred me on to other healthcare professionals also.

Each appointment, I can trust the team and rely on them to help me. My physical symptoms in my day to day life have impacted on my mental well-being, without Dr Burns' referral and support to health psychology I most likely wouldn’t have taken the step myself to get professional help for my feelings.
