I attended an appointment at Penzance hospital - not unusual as I am not a well person suffering from anxiety, chronic pain & disabling illnesses - which was nothing short of unpleasant. My mother chaperoned me to my appointment before being threatened with security for what they said was potentially spreading covid by attending the appointment with me, despite me telling the receptionists about my disability, which was also questioned when I was asked is that actually a disability? Not only was this scary and made me feel incredibly insignificant, but this is the last thing I would expect from an NHS hospital. This was blatant discrimination and my GP recommended I filled out one of these care forms as he was just as shocked I was. To say I will be avoiding this hospital at all costs in the future is no understatement. I feel so let down.
