"Efficient and caring"

About: York Hospital

I brought my partner in on Saturday after a skateboarding injury. At the age of 51 he should know better, but that's another story. From the security guard on the main desk who found me a safe place to leave the motorhome (we were on a weekend away for my daughters birthday). To the receptionists and the sisters in A&E who ensured speedy and compassionate care we just wanted to say thank you.

He arrived in a lot of pain and was seen quickly, given analgesia and an xray booked before triage with doctor.

We both work within the NHS and were pleased with the efficient yet compassionate care he was given.

When in the future they rebuild York A&E can you remove the cobbles off the pavement... That is the only negative thing he found about the entire experience.

The department was clean, social distanced, well run and the communication was excellent.

Thank you

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such wonderful and informative feedback. Firstly, I hope your husband has made a safe and speedy recovery since his accident. Secondly, it is so great to hear of how well he was treated and how cared for you both felt. This can make all the difference when it comes to an accident and trip to A&E.

I hope, should you ever need our services again, that we can provide the same first-class care you both received on this instance.

Thank you and take care.
