I have just come back from an appointment for a pelvic ultrasound - a procedure I was dreading , not least because I had an upsetting appointment yesterday and I still felt a bit raw. In addition I was a tad anxious as the results could be quite frightening, but the two people involved were from the start kind and compassionate and put me at my ease throughout. It is not a particularly pleasant procedure, it being so intimate, but it was fine, painless and less problem than a routine smear. I thought the women involved hit the right note between being cheery and light-hearted and so thoughtful that my trust in health professionals has gone right back up again. I so appreciated their care and professionalism after the day before - I could cry.
Thank you !!!
