"Wonderful caring staff"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

After 2 1/2 years of being on the waiting list I finally had my ankle operation at the treatment centre  yesterday. As a fellow health care worker I found all the staff highly professional at all times and treated me with dignity and respect. Thank you to all the theatre staff and for Nic my daycase ward nurse for such wonderful care. Even with a unexpected admission overnight to the short stay ward my care was wonderful with nothing to much trouble for the staff.   Thank you to you all.

Thank you for this wonderful feedback for the staff at the Treatment Centre who helped with your operation. First of all, I’m sorry to hear that you had such a long wait before you could be treated. It’s great to hear though that the whole team provided wonderful care and met all of your needs while you were with us.

I have shared your kind words with the team and we all wish you a speedy recovery.

All the best
