"Impressed but lack certain things for disabled."

About: Harewood Surgery

Would have thought anybody disabled should be able to park right outside surgery entrance but not at all. Always a car or cars parked there outside their garages. Have own wheelchair but if could park near the reception it would save husband having to lug my chair from our car boot.So always have to park in the main area of the car park and being mindful of my husbands age 80 walk from there which is a struggle with my various health problems.Would have thought Harewood might have one or two wheelchairs of their own that could be left outside for patient use. Next problem once you get up the slope the entrance step and doors are a nightmare. Life could be so much easier for disabled people with more thought which you would expect a Doctors surgery to have without it being pointed out them. Then once in the waiting room a silly chair with no arms to use to help you get up. And they do not like whoever is with you staying in the waiting room to help you. Have never seen any of the Doctors only spoken to them on the phone so no comment on them but seem very efficient.
