Anything else?
I was referred by my GP back in Oct 2012 I was referred on the Mon rang on Weds for an appt in the Rapid access clinic on Friday , s/b consultant and had ultrasounds and CT scan all on the same day as the RAC and also admitted for drainage of acities.
Returned for results to be told they needed further biopsies so was admitted the next day after opa for biopsies but they couldn't do it so added to another consultants list for laparoscopy back to opa the following week to see surgeon then oncologist on same clinic
I have nothing but praise for the whole of the gynaecological team and oncology team right from the doctors down to the nurses when they have said that they are going to arrange something they have and I have always got my appt before I have left the hospital or the Macmillan nurses have rung me to let me know.
Even today I was meant to have surgery but due to unfortunate circumstances my surgery was postponed till later in the week but the consultant went out of her way to arrange this.
So my experience at the QCCWH has been nothing but positive also the chemo day unit at the Hammersmith Hosp has been nothing but a very positive experience
"Nothing but praise"
