I have recently transferred to Nelson's after moving to the area. I called to book an appointment, I was 10th in the que so decided to use the online services. A doctor called me the following day and prescribed me a prescription. I called the pharmacy to find out if my prescription was ready to collect the following day to be told they don't have it. Told to call back the surgery to find out where it is, to then be on hold for 35 mins (being number one in the que)! When the receptionist finally answered I'm told my prescription has been sent to Books in Enfield?? and good luck with getting it! Thanks for your help!
I was expected her to offer some kind of solution but not helpful at all.
I understand its a busy time due to covid or whatever, but a little help would have gone a long way. Now I'm having to book another app just to get my prescription, when the receptionist could have just left a message with the doctor.
Such a waste of time!!
My first experience with Nelson, not positive at all. Should have just stayed with my old GP!
