"Recent care from Wishaw children’s ward"

(as a parent/guardian),

My 6 year old son had a recent weekend stay in ward 20 at Wishaw hospital.

The care we had was quick and precise. My son was treated in a timely manner and kept in for 2 nights to ensure he was well enough before discharge. The nursing staff and medical staff were all lovely and caring.

Being a nurse myself, it’s hard being on the opposite side and accepting that it’s my child that’s unwell. Thanks again.

Dear CPKC87,

Thanks so much for taking the time to tell us about your time with your son on the ward - it really does mean a lot when someone lets us know about their experience.

I'm glad the nursing and medical staff were on hand to make you both feel reassured and at ease and I hope your little boy is making a full recovery

I'll make sure this is passed onto all the staff on Ward 20 - I'm sure they will be delighted!

Take care

Laura
