"Chasing for ECG results?!!"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

After attending cardiology for a 48 hour ECG holter monitor to be fitted on the 18th of March, I have yet to be given any results.

My doctors were told that they had to email for the results, and yet I was not not privy to them?

My drs then sent me an email telling me that we all had to wait for a letter to be sent to me. NEARLY 2 MONTHS HAS PASSED. If anything was seriously wrong with my heart, I could be dead by now!

Very poor practise and useless communication.

I have very little faith in treatment provided.

Thank you for your feedback. There has clearly been a communication problem with your results. These should have been shared with you and we apologise that this didn't happen.

We are uncertain why your GP surgery has not been able to share them with you but if you would like to contact the PALS team (patient advice and liaison service) on 01634 825004 or medwayft.pals@nhs.net providing your name and date of birth they will be happy to help you gain your results.

Please accept our apologies for the time you waited.

kindest regards,

Patient Experience Manager
