"please answer the phone!!!"

About: Bhf Lundwood Surgery

It has taken me 3 hours to finally get through to the surgery. I needed to either get a doctors appointment or get to speak to someone about the problems im having with my medication. All i get is a recorded message to say they are experiencing a high volume of calls and to press one to continue which cuts you off after a few moments of silence. I appreciate things are difficult now but its always been like this. After 3 hours i finally get through to a human being. No appointments left. Please do something to rectify this!

Thank you for your recent feedback regarding BHF Lundwood. I am sorry that you are finding it difficult obtaining an appointment, we do unfortunately experience high call volumes at certain times. We are however in the process of changing our telephone line system due to issues being brought to our attention in order to improve the patient experience.

Regarding obtaining an appointment, as you are struggling to get through on the telephone system you can also use DoctorLink to be able to obtain an appointment. Please see the link below:

I would also like to assure you that we are currently in the process of recruiting additional staff members which will increase that amount of appointments available in practice.

All feedback is taken seriously and is used to help us try and make the patient experience at our practices better.
