"Terrible"

This is the very worst surgery I have ever been registered with in my life. The receptionists show a brutal lack of empathy and it's impossible to get an appointment or any other kind of treatment from here, no matter your circumstances.

I was in agony with a badly prolapsed spinal disc last year which eventually needed surgery. After several days of calling at 8AM and getting fobbed off, I was giving up hope. Words cannot describe how much pain I was in and how scared I was, and every day I was told to 'ring again tomorrow' which caused me to panic. I eventually paid for a private GP appointment who was only able to prescribe me painkillers. I needed a specialist referral from my NHS GP, and in the end I had to sign up with another practice to get this because all I could do here was call at 8AM and get fobbed off.

It's deeply, deeply upsetting that others seem to get favourable treatment and leave 5* reviews while I got treated like dirt. Either these reviews are not genuine, or the practice is engaging in some kind of favouritism towards certain patients.

My new NHS practice uses the eConsult system, so even if they are busy they will at least look at your issue and respond appropriately. I'm so glad I moved and now have access to healthcare again.
