I would like to say how delighted I am with with the care I have received recently from the Breast Care team at the RAH Paisley .
I have been so impressed with the kindness and concern I have been shown and the professional way I have been dealt with, particularly in these difficult times.
I would struggle to find anything to improve but I have given it thought.
One area I felt unsure of was the post op exercises I was advised to carry out.
I received a leaflet well before the operation which gave instructions on how to carry these exercises out which indeed was very helpful.
In the absence of a physiotherapist being able to give face to face advice , I would have found a video explaining these exercises in a visual way very helpful.
I know not everyone has access to the internet at home , but I wondered about an I pad being available in the immediate post op period in hospital allowing patients to view the exercises demonstrated ?
I managed to find exercises demonstrated online to reassure myself I was carrying them out properly but they were not specific to me.
This is only a suggestion.
I have had a wonderfully positive experience of care at the RAH Paisley .
My sincere thanks to everyone.
