"Unacceptable "

I have had to seek private medical care costing £2,200.00 as I was unable to access an appointment, treatment or referral through my GPTGP.yhus practice.

To date I have only been able to get pain medication prescribed with only a telephone consultation. Even when presented with a referral following £2,000.00 worth of scans, treatment and a letter from a private highly regarded consultant they are still refusing an appointment. I had to insist very strongly that I be referred to the hospital as I am no longer able to meet private medical bills and its likely that I need surgery which privately will cost £10,000.00.

The surgery is constantly engaged and when you do speak to someone there are no appointments and you are told to ring back the following day. This has been the same for years and is not a covid related issue.
