"Great care and treatment"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

I arrived in the hospital in the early morning, after an ambulance was called for me. I had shortness of breath and a temporary paralysis of my arms and legs, was running a temperature and had a chest infection (I am aged 76). Received excellent care and treatment with oxygen and antibiotics, and made a good and swift recovery. I have the highest praise for the nursing and medical staff, who take their work seriously and conscientiously. It was a pity about the behaviour of some of the patients on the ward, in particular one individual who seemed intent on making trouble and rendering the work of the nurses impossible, but I guess this kind of thing has to be expected in a busy urban hospital. All in all a very good experience - thank you so much.
