(as a friend),

I accompanied my secretary to the RVH emergency department unexpectantly as she took a dizzy spell and became quite unsteady on her feet.

From entering the department everyone and everything went so smoothly, especially in Zone B especially being cared by Tara and Caiomhe. Their care and compassion throughout was exceptional. My secreatary was quite anxious and she really appreciated the staffs attention and reassurance.

As a member of staff within the Trust I was so proud and pleased to see such behaviour towards the patients.

I want to thank you for your kind words about your experience and the treatment that your secretary received in the Emergency Department in RVH.

I am so pleased that you found the staff reassuring at a time when I can imagine both you, and your secretary were anxious and worried. I will ensure that Tara and Caoimhe are made aware of the difference their care made to you both and the praise for the smooth and efficient experience you had will be shared with the whole ED team.

I hope that she continues to be well after her unexpected illness, and that you both feel reassured by the care she recieved.
