"Breast surgery"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / General Surgery (wards 64, 65, 66,& 67)

(as a service user),

Had a preventative double mastectomy in may 2018 and got temporary implants which were to be changed within the year

However surgery was put off by the surgeon

I then contacted this page and got an appointment for March last year then covid struck and so here I am abandoned again.

I was last seen by Glasgow Royal at the beginning of December 2018

I think this is a disgusting way to treat someone

My right implant has been pushing up since Nov 2019

They know this at the hospital.

I’m now left in severe discomfort and also have 2 odd breasts which leaves me feeling very down and a anxious here we go into another summer where I’m no comfortable in clothes

I have discussed with the Clinical Services Manager responsible for this service and he has asked me to extend his phone number for you to call in the first instance to see how he can assist you further.

His name is Ewen MacDonald and his contact number is 07790 945692.
