Anything else?
I spent five days and four nights in the MAY WARD at St Peter's Hospital from 14th to 18th January 2013.
I have no complaints at all concerning staff (nurses, doctors and adjunct) workers), care and attention, cleanliness, treatment, food, and everything else.
Any annoyances were caused by fractious noisy patients and not the fault of the hospital staff.
I noticed that the staff were very busy and hard working. In addition there was only one pillow available for me due to a shortage. I coped.
The frustrating thought was that 45 million is given to the EU each day. Just imagine what 8 hours of spending on the EU (15 million) could do for St Peter's in a year. More staff, more supplies, more equipment.
I must therefore thank the staff at St Peter's for the good extensive treatment I received and have already extolled the virtues of the hospital to family and friends both home and abroad.
Anyone who complains, even if certain complaints are legitimate, should spend some time in hospitals in southern Africa. Perhaps they would appreciate what they have in the UK.
