"Positive birth experience at Aberdeen Midwife Unit"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care) Inverurie Hospital / Midwifery

(as a service user),

In September 2020 I gave birth to my 2nd daughter in Aberdeen Midwife Unit. It's long overdue,  but I wanted to thank all those involved in the delivery of my little girl. I felt very well looked after during labour from the first phone call to inverurie midwife unit for reassurance, to the triage care I received at Aberdeen. Hannah in midwife unit along with HCSW made the birth of my 2nd daughter a very postive experience for me and my husband. I felt listened to and cared for throughout, and due to this our daughter is now called named after her. Thank you, all the staff in the matty were amazing!

Dear Mumofgirls,

Thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback. It is so important to feel listened to and I am glad your calls to Inverurie and Triage made you feel this way.

The team in the Midwives Unit will be delighted to hear you had a very positive experience. Your daughter to be named after the person caring for you is very special for all concerned. What a lovely story that will give me pleasure sharing with the fabulous team in the Midwives Unit.
