"Practical support made a huge difference"

About: South Yorkshire Housing Association Limited / My Best Life Social Prescribing

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Living alone is not a picnic. Living alone in pain & after a sudden change in physical health, is not fun. Concerns about family unwell in hospital, plus moving house for the 3rd time in 2 years is not a small thing when your health has declined. Tracy listened with emotional intelligence, compassion & understanding. Then came practical action & suggestions as to how to solve some problems. This was in the form of actual assistance & in sending me relevant links that I could use to help myself. Tracy’s instant grasp of all I said was not only refreshing & comforting, it helped greatly when I was ‘up against it’, in both physical & emotional pain, & the fact that practical support was offered, made a huge difference to my well being. I am & always will be grateful.
