About: Haworth Medical Practice

Tried to speak with a doctor regarding a neck injury, was told no appointments didn’t know when there would be any, it seemed more like: just go away you’re a nuisance. Rang 111 and was told to attend A&E immediately.

Also I’d had my annual blood test: was told I needed to speak with a doctor. When the Doc didn’t ring I rang back to find I’d been given the wrong results and all was ok.

I’ve been with this surgery for nearly 30 years and up until recently it was excellent, in my view. Now it seems the patients are a nuisance and you can’t get any type of service.

We are sorry to hear that you was unable to get an appointment for your neck injury, we are glad to see that you spoke to 111 and was advised to attend A&E. GP’s are limited to what they are able to do regarding injuries, if it is a new injury then this is best to be checked out at a local minor injuries unit or hospital to ensure there is no delay in treatment. 111 telephone or online service is great tool to use if you are unsure where you are needing to direct your health concerns.
