(as a relative),

We would like to thank all the staff at the vascular annex at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital who provided end of life care to our mum & gran.   The care provided was wonderful & although initially we would have hoped to have her home for those last few weeks we know that the level of care she required & was given would not have been possible at home.   All members of staff were great & my gran praised all the staff.   We would like to especially mention Jim who my gran praised everyday for his care & kindness & she always enjoyed chatting with him.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to you and your family. It is very kind of you to share such positive feedback after the loss of your gran. I’m pleased to hear that staff provided a high quality of care which paid attention to the little things like kindness and friendly conversation.

I will make sure your post is shared with Jim and the other staff members at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, as I am sure they will also take comfort in you and your gran’s kind words. Thank you for taking the time to share your story.
