Why are patients allowed to have Horse racing commentary on at full volume and listen without headphones. Everyone in the bay is subjected to the noise Also this morning one of the patients had the radio on at full volume which was also a disturbance to my husband who is very ill

I understand that noise can be difficult while on a ward or bay especially when feeling very ill.
Could I ask that if you are willing to share with myself, the Ward in question that you email us at careopinion@setrust.hscni.net which will allow us to follow up with the Ward to see what improvements can be made.
