"Physiotherapy Arches Centre"

About: Belfast Health & Social Care Trust

(as a service user),

I was injured in 2017 and have had a recurrent problem with a shoulder injury. It was really chronic pain.  My care at the Ulster Hospital and Musgrave Park had to be  abandoned because of the pandemic. It got so bad I was put on morphine for the pain and referred to the Arches Physiotherapy Service for virtual treatment

They were brilliant. They spent a lot of time understanding the issue and sent me lesson plans and exercises by email. They regularly followed up with checks advice and support. After 3 months I have had almost complete relief. I still have som eissues but its spasmodic and 10% of what it was. I have stopped the painkillers and feel much better

Molly - thank-you very much for taking the time to post your comments. I am very pleased that we were able to help you especially during the pandemic when we had to change how we delivered our service. It is great to hear that the approach has helped and I hope you continue to feel the benefit.

Thank - you again

Elaine McConnel
