"Care and treatment phenomenal"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

In July 2020 I had need to admit to A& E. I was there for 4 hours. No-one wants to be in that environment any longer than needs be but the care, treatment and investigative services provided to me was phenomenal. From the nurses to the Junior doctor that worked with me and the specialists that provided scans etc I am truly grateful. QEU A& E should be very proud of their service, specialist knowledge, care and attentive approach to patients. On leaving, at the desk, they apologised for the amount of time I had to spend there. I told them there was no need to apologise. The whole experience was exemplary customer care. Thank you.

Dear KT Mearns

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in regards to the time you spent in Accident & Emergency at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

It was nice to hear how all the staff you came across from the nurses to the junior doctor were approachable and offered great care throughout your journey.

I will be happy to pass on your comments to the staff involved who I'm sure will be touched to hear how you found the service.

Please take care and stay safe

Kind regards

Kevin
