"Due to covid I am unable to visit."

My mum is in hospital and due to covid I am unable to visit.

I rang the hospital and gave my details and they rung me through Duo which is on android devices. I was able to see my mum and see the progress she had made, This experience allowed me to feel less worried about my mum as I could see she was improving with each call. The staff were super friendly and I could see they had my mum's best interests at heart. I would highly recommend using Duo especially for family members living far apart or if you are unable to see them.

Dear Username1590876 - thank you so much for sharing this feedback with us. We do appreciate how difficult it is for patients and their families when they are separated due to COVID restrictions. It is lovely to read that the video call enabled you to feel less worried as you were able to see each other.
