"Living skilfully group therapy"

About: Community Partnerships Service

(as a service user),

I was in an emotionally abusive relationship that led to me having an emotional breakdown. This resulted in my son being placed into foster care. I was finding it really hard to focus my thoughts. I couldn’t sleep and felt overwhelmed in social situations. I was referred to living skilfully group therapy. I was nervous at first and a little doubtful it would be helpful to me. However the group was extremely supportive and the skills I learned have been so useful. Meditation is something I now do each day. My thoughts are no longer chaotic and I sleep brilliantly. I found mindfulness really helps me in social situations, I no longer feel anxious.

The group has had such a positive impact on my life. Thank you x
